Preparing for Christmas, by Richard Rohr

A new trade edition, Preparing for Christmas sounds the notes you’d expect from the popular Franciscan speaker and writer. Rohr’s intent is to move Christians beyond the sentimentality of a baby born in a manger, which typically leads to private and pious devotions, to a “social appreciation of the Incarnation of God in Christ,” which recognizes Jesus’ Lordship over all creation.
