Catholics and Protestants are cooperating on a new website that allows German
Christians to find their nearest church service, anywhere in the country, any
day of the year.
Berlin, Germany, October 7 (ENInews)--As more Muslims become part of European society, German universities have begun courses aimed at helping Islamic clergy (imams) and religious teachers understand German culture, including Christianity and Judaism.
Pope Benedict xvi's recent visit to Germany featured an ecumenical
worship service in the town of Erfurt that was meant to reach out to
German Protestants, but for many it felt like a missed opportunity.
Berlin, September 21 (ENInews)--Pope Benedict XVI, on his first state
visit to his native country, arrives in Berlin on 22 September in what many see
as a unique opportunity for increased understanding between Catholic and
Protestant Churches.
