Fugitive polygamist leader Warren Jeffs, who was on the FBI’s Most Wanted List for three months, was arrested on an interstate highway north of Las Vegas, Nevada, August 28. The 50-year-old head of the 10,000-member Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—a Mormon splinter group—was wanted in Utah and Arizona for alleged involvement in underage marriages, rape and sexual assault.
