Robert M. Franlkin named president
Black-church scholar Robert M. Franklin has been named president of Morehouse College in Atlanta. Franklin, 53, professor of social ethics at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, began his new position on July 2, succeeding current president Walter E. Massey, who is retiring.
