a long time, because it speaks to a big frustration of mine: while (contrary to
most blogger stereotypes) I appreciate the importance of reporting, I can't
stand reading most straight news writing.

For conservative Christan groups, the hot gift last month was a weapon for fighting back in the “War on Christmas”—be it a button, a bumper sticker or a legal memo with information on the topic.
Citing other challenges in a “crowded cultural battlefield,” the conservative American Family Association announced that it has officially ended its boycott of Disney theme parks and products initiated in 1996 over Disney’s alleged embrace of gay rights and the “homosexual lifestyle.”
