Antiwar Christians set March 16 protest
March on the White House
A wide array of Christian peace groups will march on the White House—and perhaps get arrested— March 16 to protest the U.S. military escalation in Iraq.
The event will include a worship service at the National Cathedral, then a candlelight procession to the White House and acts of nonviolent civil disobedience at the executive mansion.
Groups involved include Sojourners/Call to Renewal and Baptist, Lutheran, Catholic and Pentecostal peace fellowships. –Associated Baptist Press
